Biography
Dr. Dustin Boler is the Director of Research for Carthage Innovative Swine Solutions, which is a contract research organization that conducts independent research for swine health, nutrition and technology companies to help with major business decisions. His experience spans the entire supply chain holding research positions with Topigs Norsvin and the University of Illinois where he was an associate professor of meat science and muscle biology and remains an adjunct associate professor in Animal Sciences.
He served on the board of directors for the American Meat Science Association (AMSA) (2016-2019) and was awarded the AMSA Achievement Award (2020). He has published numerous peer-reviewed and popular press articles related to pork production and meat quality.
