Biography
Nathan Schroeder is a third-generation farmer (first-generation pig farmer) for FNK Farms, a feeder-to-finish operation that markets 15,000 hogs and manages 65,000 nursery pigs annually. Additionally, the operation harvests row crops, owns a trucking business and operates a small agricultural parts store to service neighbors.
Shroeder’s industry leadership experience includes the Pork Leadership Institute, and he serves as the current president of the Ohio Pork Council, backing a tenured board position of five years. He has been affiliated with the state and county Farm Bureau for 12 years. Finally, he is actively involved in his church and is a community supporter and Advisory Committee member of his local FFA chapter.
